I can never have french toasts the same again ever since I had these Berry French Toast Kebabs. Each of this Berry French Toast Kebabs come with an amazing fruit to french toast ratio, with an amazing drizzle of honey!
The most surprising thing about these Berry French Toast Kebabs is that it’s easy to prepare and takes no more than 30 minutes. However, just be changing up your plating style, it adds a whole lot more fun and classiness to the dish!
Additionally, there are many ways to customise this according to your preference. For starters, you can consider the use of different fruits such as bananas and kiwis. Then, you could also swap out the condiments, such as the use of melted dark chocolate.
For my recipe, it was berry all the way! This includes an assortment of blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries. Furthermore, I also made a blueberry compote from scratch to go with these Berry French Toast Kebabs.
Finally, the fun part comes when preparing the skewers / kebabs. Simply arrange it the way you like it and I would recommend a variety of ways for an impressive, aesthetically pleasing finish. You can also consider involving the young ones at home for this activity, it’s a whole lot fun!
Otherwise, the only piece of advice I would like to emphasise on is the use of vanilla and cinnamon in your French Toast batter. Doing so allows you to have a way more flavourful and fragrant Berry French Toast Kebab!
Without further ado, the recipe.

French Toast
- 6 to 7 Slices of Bread
- 2 Large Eggs, approx 60g each
- 1/2 Cup + 2 Tbspns or 150ml of Milk
- 1 Tsp or 5ml of Vanilla
- Approx 1 Tsp of Cinnamon
- 3 Tbspns or 40 – 45g of Butter

Blueberries Compote
- 1 Cup or approx 180g of Blueberries
- 1 Tbspn or 15ml of Water
- 1 Tbspn or 15ml of Lemon Juice
- Honey to sweeten
Instructions
- Whisk together 2 eggs and milk. Then, whisk in vanilla and cinnamon.
- Dip each slice of bread 1 – 2 mins on each side. Shake off the excess.
- Heat up your frying pan to medium / medium-high heat and melt a tbsp of butter. Once fully melted, cook each french toast for approx 2 – 3 mins on each side until nicely brown.
- Set aside the completed toast and do re-butter the pan as needed for subsequently toasts.
- If making blueberry compote, simmer blueberries with water and lemon juice for 8 – 10 mins. I flavour with honey near the end. The compote will thicken further after it sits at room temp!
- Serve with honey and enjoy!
