MY LOVE FOR BAKING

Hello everyone 😆

MY LOVE FOR BAKING by Javier Tan- Bakeomaniac

I am Javier and I absolutely love baking! I started out baking when I was 15 years old. My baking journey first when me and my sister requested our parents to buy us an oven, and so they did!

From then on, a whole spiral of catalytic events and the constant encouragement I have received convinced me to further progress and improve myself through this baking journey. I remember baking my very first batch of cookies and I slowly caught on with more bakes to follow. They obviously didn’t turn out the best but I can absolutely remember the faces of my kind and encouraging family and friends! It’s not the best, but they actually, in an attempt to encourage me, say that it is.

Another aspect I love about baking is that I can avoid the catapulting costs of commercial desserts made by stores and cafes, and instead make my own. This is especially so when I didn’t come from a wealthy background but still have a sweet 😀 tooth to satisfy. It is also very therapeutic and I am sure you can relate to that!

By baking my own goods, I am also able to share a piece of love that I constructed with my efforts with people around me. I absolutely appreciate their presence and because of that, baking is a way for me to show them how much I appreciate them.

Stay tune for new recipes as I tackle the everyday ingredient or develop a creative baking recipe (with emphasis on cost, time efficiency and accessibility of ingredients).

I hope you enjoy following through my baking journey and the tips and recipes I have to share with you. Through blogging and reaching out to you, I also hope that my baking journey will inspire you to take up that whisk and bake away!

I do hope that we can grow as a community and together, improve our skills! We might come from diverse backgrounds but I am sure we are united through our hobby of baking.

You can find me on Facebook, Instagram,  and YouTube!

-Bakeomaniac, Javier!
