Looking for a dessert that is creamy, light and nourishing, all without the fuss? This easy tofu mousse is your answer. All you would need is 3 simple ingredients and 2 quick steps, and you will have a smooth, velvety treat that feels indulgent but is secretly packed with protein, antioxidants and vitamins.
The best of it all – this recipe is also easily customisable in both flavours and toppings. As such, I thought to share both the chocolate and matcha versions for your reference! You can also definitely see how this is perfect for busy weekday nights, last-minute gatherings, or when that sweet craving hits. This easy tofu mousse is certainly proof that healthy and delicious can go hand in hand!


Let’s address the most important point for this Easy Tofu Mousse, why are we even using Tofu? Silken tofu is the star of this recipe because it’s naturally smooth texture makes it an excellent base for mousse. Furthermore, it is rich in plant-based protein while being low in fat. It also adapts so beautifully as a light background to different flavours, so you can whip up many flavour variations!
Some other variations I can think of on top of this Chocolate Protein Tofu Mousse and Matcha Honey Tofu Mousse will be Berry Swirl and Tropical Pineapples. The world of flavours is endless, so feel free to experiment!

Easy Tofu Mousse Recipe

Craving for an indulgent snack without all the calories? Look no further than these Easy Tofu Mousse that is healthier, packed with nutrients!
Ingredients (Chocolate Protein Version, 1 Serving)
- 1 Cup or 240g of Silken Tofu
- Approx 1/3 Cup or 80g of Dark Chocolate (melted)
- (Optional) 1 Scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder
Ingredients (Matcha Honey Version, 1 Serving)
- 1 Cup or 240g of Silken Tofu
- Approx 1.5 Tsp or 3g of Matcha Powder (to adjust)
- 1 Tbsp or 15g of Honey, adjust to taste
Instructions
- Firstly, blend all your ingredients until smooth (you can use a hand-held blender or food processor).
- Then, pour into ramekins or cups, and set in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until set.
- Serve with fruits and seeds, enjoy!
