Say hello to heavenly chocolate hazelnut goodness with this easy Nutella Tiramisu. You can be sure that this Nutella Tiramisu recipe will take a beloved classic to a whole new level with nostalgic richness that complements and elevate every component of this dessert. Furthermore, I absolutely love the creaminess of the Nutella and how it transforms this familiar dessert!

Similar to my Azuki Matcha Tiramisu, Biscoff Tiramisu, and Classic Tiramisu recipes, here are some tips you would find helpful for you to get started for this Nutella Tiramisu!
- Whipped Cream
Aim for a cream that is light and fluffy. This can be achieved by mixing with mascarpone, and whipping until it’s stiff peaks. While there are many types of whipped cream out there, French cream is quite high up on my list for its luscious mouthfeel and quality. Apart from which, make sure to pick a reputable product that is stable at least for 30 minutes in the heats of Southeast Asia! - Coffee Liqueur
This is completely optional, but makes a small teaspoon makes a well-balanced Nutella Tiramisu. Think brownies and chocolate cakes, where a dash of coffee rounds off the flavours so well. Similarly, the use of coffee liqueur, such as that of Kahlua, is guaranteed to elevate your Nutella Tiramisu.Nonetheless, you can feel free to opt for vanilla beans instead (or none at all) for an alcohol-free version that is friendly for kids, and those who can’t consume alcohol. They taste just as well, especially with the generous dosage of Nutella! - Nutella, Nutella, Nutella
Don’t scrimp on the Nutella, and go all out! Apart from adding int between the layers, I also finished my Nutella Tiramisu with a criss cross piped pattern across the top. Of course, finishing off with a dust of cocoa powder (Do consider roasted hazelnut powder too if you’ve it on hand)!
I hope fellow Nutella fans will love this recipe as much as I do.
Without further ado, the recipe!
Nutella Tiramisu Recipe
by Javier Tan July-20-2025
This creamy, dreamy Nutella Tiramisu comes with bold flavours of chocolate and hazelnut. Truly the dessert of my dreams!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup or 240g Mascarpone (removed from fridge for 10 mins)
- Approx 1 Tsp or 5ml of Vanilla Essence / Extract
- 1 and 1/2 Cups or 360ml of Whipping Cream (I used French)
- At least 3/4 Cup or 200ml of Brewed Coffee
- 16 Tiramisu Fingers (or to taste)
- Cococa Powder (for dusting, to taste, roasted hazelnut powder works too)
- Nutella (to taste, I used at least 150g – 200g)
Instructions
- Firstly, beat the mascarpone for a couple of minutes before mixing in the vanilla.
- Then, pour in the whipping cream and whisk until stiff peaks (it should take just at most 5 mins with an electric whisk, 8 – 10 mins handheld whisk!). Set aside.
- Dip the tiramisu fingers into the brewed coffee and form a base layer. Then, top with whipped cream, nutella and a dusting of cocoa powder.
- Repeat the same thing for each layer (tiramisu soakaed in coffee, followed by cream, nutella and cocoa powder dusting). I did the final finish of nutella piping and cocoa dusting only when I am ready to serve.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Once ready, pipe designs of Nutella and cocoa powder dusting as desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
