These Chocolate Pecan Blondies are served with melty chocolates balanced with a touch of nuttiness! As an adult, I am always happy to see the chocolate-nut combo manifested in bakes; not so much as a child. This is understandably especially in both the taste and texture departments!

For a start, these Chocolate Pecan Blondies are easy to come together. It’s pretty much a one-bowl recipe! Furthermore, good flavours are easy to achieve, and adjustable in terms of the chocolate to pecan ratio. Personally, I enjoy the 1:1 ratio which is presented in the recipe card below. However, for bolder and nuttier flavours, feel free to go 1.5g nut : 1g chocolate!

I am also secretly glad to finally use up my pecans; and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you come to this with the same “problem”. Additionally, we all know how expensive pecans are and we don’t want to waste it. I hope to come up with more pecan recipes soon (I bought a whole kg of it)!

Also, you might be wondering how I got the pecans lined up without dropping off. To achieve this, simply melt some chocolate (I used compound) and place a dollop of it where you want the whole pecans to be. Doing so achieve a nice and simple topping.

Furthermore, I roasted the pecans I used at the top for an extra nutty flavour. You can elevate it further such as by caramelizing the pecans, or serve with vanilla ice cream. Afterall, these Chocolate Pecan Blondies are on the richer end and it would be nice to balance it with additional elements!

Without further ado, the recipe!
