Tart specialist Wunderfolks impresses with new flavour line-up this season. Originating from a skilled baker’s kitchen, Wunderfolks still takes pride in its homemade-styled tarts with well-matched flavours and textures.

This new line-up of tarts from Wunderfolks consists of:

  • Fruitlicious Mixed Fruit (Signature)
  • Lemony Meringue
  • Valrhona Dark Chocolate
  • Lychee
  • Maple Pecan
  • Hey Sesame

We (my family and friends) are absolutely blown away by the Fruitilicious Mixed Fruit Tart and the floral, luscious Lychee Tart. Especially so with the fresh fruits, one can tell that these tarts are certainly made with pride and care. Furthermore, it’s really impressive how there’s a flavour for everyone depending on your preference!

One of my personal favourites will be the Hey Sesame, which certainly does remind me of the asian sesame paste dessert that I grown up loving. These tarts from Wunderfolks certainly helped me in realizing my love for southeast asian flavours, while appreciating the everyday classics.

It will be difficult to give a least favourite for Wunderfolks, but it could possibly be the Maple Pecan as I find it to be slightly dry. However, I believe things will be different if I warm it up slightly, or even, serve it with a scoop of ice cream!

Each of these 8cm tart will cost S$8.00 with a special price of S$42.00 for 6. Furthermore, should you enjoy their signature flavours, they do sell a whole tart at S$45.00.

On a side note, I am absolutely in love with their branding, especially for Barry, co-owner and brand ambassador of Wunderfolks. In addition, the nice navy blue goes so well across the packaging and guide cards.

Overall, I had a really pleasant time tasting the variety of Wunderfolks tarts and I can’t wait to have it again!
