A pretty standard yet super delicious and easy to make recipe, the Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins! Again, I can’t help but harp on how much I love the combination of Banana and Chocolate, and I am sure you will too. Even if you don’t, I am quite confident this recipe will convert you!

I shall now explain the finer details but before I start going into the explanation, if you are a fan of Banana Chocolate, you can check out this recipe of mine, Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies ( clickable )!
As like every banana baking recipe ( I am not so sure if there are any exceptions! ), please make sure that the bananas you are using are overripe or the ripest possible. This is because the sweeter overripe bananas will allow there to be a stronger banana presence in the final product and not allow it to be outshine by the chocolate chips.
Afterall, this is a combination of BOTH chocolate and banana, not one or the other, but a beautiful partnership that sends excitement to your tongue!

On top of which, please do not overdose on the chocolates if not it will definitely overshadow the banana even if there is sufficient bananas added to the batter!
That is pretty much it for the ingredients!
For the method, please do not over bake your muffins or the banana flavour will be not as prominent. This is because the natural compounds behind that all good banana flavour can leave the baked good pretty easily. #BakingScience. And finally ( please forgive me if you find this distasteful!! ), before I get to my recipe, every subsequent post will include this to allow me to have a blatant advertising opportunity for my bake sales! I am doing this because I really want to seek a new experience and know how it feels like to sell baked goods!

I tried the dark chocolate banana muffins. I omitted the cocoa powder as I was careless in writing the recipe out. However the recipe turned out well. My grandchildren loved them very much. Thanks for encouraging me to try other muffin recipes you have posted.
I am so happy to hear that you have tried out the recipe and like it! I am really happy to have encouraged you but in return, I feel that you have encouraged me to continue with the writing of recipes with your kind encouragement 😀
